It is a diagram of Good Agricultural Practices with an option of a third part certification. This norm covers all the production process of the certified product and all the agricultural and livestock activities related until the product is isolated from exploitation. This model has been implemented globally with the objective of following the same rules for agricultural and livestock production all over the world.

Globalgap is born as a response to the consumer’s worries about the origin of the agricultural and livestock products, considering the use of agrochemicals, the environment, the occupational responsibility and others. The modules are:

  • Crops: fruits, vegetables, flowers and ornamental plants, green coffee, tea and grains.
  • Animals: bovine, ovine, dairy cattle, porcine and domestic poultry.
  • Aquiculture: salmon, trout, shrimp, tilapia.
